AA's new 757 Business Class seatback
Kindle not included.
There are a lot of subtle improvements with the new 757 Business Class seats over the 767s I'm mosty used to -- the compartment under the tray is bigger, it's harder to lose things in some places, and most importantly was probably simply the fact that the IFE was *much* more responsive than the portable units that are in the 767s. Sure, the portable units are probably a lot cheaper and easier to replace, but I prefer the integrated IFE for a lot of reasons.
That said, the IFE was buggy: it locked up for both me and my seatmate and they had to restart it, and the overhead IFE was stuck on a map with a picture of the plane going *towards* Dublin -- you can sorta see that if you zoom in.
ORD to DUB.
day 68 : 03.12.09
what a looooong day. this morning, 2 of our friends picked us up to head to the airport in kansas city (flights from there were much cheaper than the ones from wichita), and we flew from there to chicago, and from chicago to dublin. exhausting for sure, and i got very little sleep on the plane... probably in part because i was so excited. by the time we reached ireland, i think we were all running on pure adrenaline. ;)
*OK, one more boring photo - taken in the wee hours of the morning when i realized i hadn't taken one today. airports can present such great photo opportunities, and this is what i end up with. blame the exhaustion.
